Clearing Your Cache to View Website Updates

Your browser cache stores older versions of websites, which can sometimes cause display issues. Clearing your cache ensures you see the latest updates.



Steps to Clear Your Cache

Hard Refresh

  • Mac: Press CMD + Shift + R

  • PC: Press Ctrl + F5

This forces your browser to reload the page without using the cache. If the issue persists, follow the detailed steps below for your browser.



Google Chrome

  1. Open Settings:

    • Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  2. Navigate to Privacy and Security:

    • In the left-hand menu, click Privacy and Security.

  3. Clear Browsing Data:

    • Select Clear Browsing Data.

  4. Choose Cache:

    • Check Cached Images and Files.

  5. Clear Data:

    • Click Clear Data.

 



Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Preferences:

    • Click Safari in the top menu and select Preferences.

  2. Manage Website Data:

    • Go to the Privacy tab and click Manage Website Data.

  3. Clear Cache:

    • Select the cache to remove or click Remove All.



Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Settings:

    • Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  2. Navigate to Privacy:

    • Go to Privacy, Search, and Services.

  3. Clear Browsing Data:

    • Under Clear Browsing Data, click Choose What to Clear.

  4. Select Cache:

    • Check Cached Files and Images.

  5. Clear Data:

    • Click Clear Now.



Mobile Browsers

  1. Access Privacy Settings:

    • Open your browser’s settings menu and look for Privacy.

  2. Clear Cache:

    • Follow your browser’s instructions to clear cached data.
