Resi V2: How to Set an Office Hours Disclaimer

How to add a custom message near your office hours on the website — useful for holiday closures, openings, or special notices.

Before You Start

Applies to: Resi V2 only. On V1? See the V1 version →
Note: Your office hours sync automatically from your PMS and show a purple shield resi-shield-48px — they cannot be edited directly in Resi. The disclaimer is a separate text field that appears alongside those synced hours on your website.


Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to your property in the Resi App.
  2. Click Property Info in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Contact Details.
  4. Scroll to the Office Hours section.
  5. Enter your message in the Disclaimer field.

    💡 Keep it brief and friendly: "Closed July 4th — we'll be back July 5th!" or "Now Open — Visit us for a tour!"


  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Clear Website Cache (top-right Quick Links).

    ⏱️ Allow 60–90 seconds, then hard-refresh to confirm the disclaimer is showing.


Removing a Disclaimer

When your notice is no longer relevant (holiday has passed, opening complete), go back to the same field, clear the text, and click Save. Then clear the cache.

🗓️ Pro tip: Set a calendar reminder for yourself when you add a holiday disclaimer so you don't forget to remove it.


If Your Office Hours Are Wrong

If the actual hours displayed are incorrect, that change must be made in your PMS, not in Resi. Once updated in your PMS, run a manual sync in Resi:

  1. Go to Connections in the left sidebar.
  2. Find your property → click Sync.
  3. Wait for "Finished" in the log, then clear the cache.


Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to edit the hours field directly — it's PMS-synced (purple shield). Update in PMS and sync.
  • Leaving an old disclaimer active — expired messages (e.g., "Closed for Thanksgiving") staying live for weeks is a common issue. Set a reminder to clean it up.
  • Forgetting to clear the cache — the disclaimer won't appear until you do.
