[See the V1 version →](https://support.getresi.com/how-to-upload-new-photos-to-the-media-gallery?hsLang=en) **Check first:** Is the gallery you're updating a **Global (Shared) gallery** or a property-specific one? Adding images to a global gallery updates it across all attached properties. Navigate to your **property → Media / Galleries**. 2. Select the **gallery** you want to update. 💡 Gallery names follow a clear convention — e.g., *"Full Gallery Global"* (shared across all properties) vs. *"Property Name Full Gallery"* (property-specific). Check the name before uploading. 3. Click **Upload Image**. 4. Select your image file(s) from your computer. 5. Once uploaded, click on each new image and go to the **Metadata tab**. 6. Add **Alt Text** — describe what's in the image and include the property name. Add any relevant **Tags** (e.g., "Amenities", "Exterior") by clicking the **Tags tab**. ⚠️ Copy tag names exactly from existing images. Tags are case-sensitive and free-form. 8. Click **Save**. 9. Click **Clear Website Cache** on the property. ### **Step-by-Step: Reorder Images** The order images appear in your gallery on Resi is the order they display on the live website. 1. Navigate to your **property → Media / Galleries**. 2. Select the gallery. 3. **Click and drag** images to reorder them. 4. Click **Save**. 5. Clear the Website Cache. ### **Image Sizing Recommendations** | **Use** | **Recommended Size** | | --- | --- | | Gallery photos | 1920 × 1080px (16:9 landscape) | | Announcement images | See[What Size Should Images Be in Announcements? →](https://support.getresi.com/what-size-should-images-be-in-announcements?hsLang=en) | | Floor plan images | 1200 × 900px or as provided by your photographer | ### **Common Mistakes to Avoid** - **Uploading to the wrong gallery** — double-check whether you're in a global or property-specific gallery before uploading. - **Skipping alt text** — every new image should have alt text added before or immediately after uploading. - **Inconsistent tag spelling** — leads to duplicate filter buttons on the live gallery page. - **Forgetting to reorder** — new images upload to the end of the list by default. Move them into the correct position before clearing cache. ### **Troubleshooting** | **Problem** | **Solution** | | --- | --- | | New images aren't showing on the live site | Did you Clear Website Cache? Wait 60–90 seconds and hard-refresh. | | Images are in the wrong order on the site | Reorder in the gallery, save, and clear cache. | | I uploaded to the wrong gallery | Remove the image from the incorrect gallery, re-upload to the correct one. | | Image quality looks poor on the site | Try uploading a higher-resolution version.
