Resi V2: How to Add and Manage FAQs
How to edit existing FAQs, create new ones, and manage whether FAQs are shared across all properties or specific to one.
Before You Start

Note: Most FAQs in your account are Global — shared across all properties. Always check the property count before editing to understand the impact of your change.
How FAQs Work in V2
FAQs in Resi V2 can be:
- Global — managed from Global Content and shared across multiple or all properties simultaneously
- Property-specific — created inside an individual property and only displayed on that property's website
Both types can exist at the same time on a property — your global FAQs and any local ones will appear together on the site.
Step-by-Step: Edit a Global FAQ
- Click Global Content in the left sidebar.
- Click FAQs.
- Find the FAQ you want to edit.
💡 Check the count shown next to each FAQ — this tells you how many properties it's currently assigned to. A high count means your edit will update many sites at once. - Click into the FAQ.
- Edit the Question and/or Answer fields.
- Confirm the property assignment list at the bottom is correct.
- Click Save.
- Clear the Website Cache on affected properties.
Step-by-Step: Create a Property-Specific FAQ
- Navigate to the property in the Resi App.
- Click Content in the left sidebar.
- Click the FAQs tab.
- Click Create New FAQ.
- Enter the Question and Answer.
- Click Save.
- Click Clear Website Cache on the property.
Step-by-Step: Add a Global FAQ to an Additional Property
- Go to Global Content → FAQs.
- Click the FAQ you want to extend.
- Scroll to the property assignment section at the bottom.
- Search for and add the new property.
- Click Save → Clear the cache on the newly added property.
Step-by-Step: Remove a FAQ from a Property
- Go to Global Content → FAQs.
- Click the FAQ.
- In the property assignment section, find and remove the property you want to detach.
- Save → Clear cache on that property.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Editing a global FAQ without checking the count — you could update 40 sites when you only meant to update 1. If in doubt, create a property-specific FAQ instead of editing the global one.
- Creating duplicate FAQs — before adding a new FAQ, search to see if a similar one already exists globally.
- Forgetting to clear the cache — FAQ changes won't appear on the live site until you do.
Troubleshooting
|
Problem |
Solution |
|
FAQ isn't showing on the site |
Is it assigned to the property? Did you Clear Website Cache? |
|
I need different FAQ text for one property |
Create a property-specific FAQ instead of editing the global one. |
|
FAQ appears twice on the website |
You may have both a global and a property-specific version of the same question active. Remove or disable one. |
|
I can't find a FAQ I know exists |
Check both the property-level FAQs tab AND Global Content → FAQs — it may be in either location. |
